Prairie Grass Trail

A staging area with free parking and rest rooms is available at 147 Mound Street, South Charleston, Ohio 45368.  10.72 miles from Clark-Greene County line to Clark-Madison County line traveling through South Charleston. 10.0 managed by CCPD.

• Part of the 325 mile Ohio to Erie Trail from Cincinnati to Cleveland.
• Greene and Clark County PD took lease from DPL for 9.6 miles in April 2001.
• Trail is 10’ wide asphalt.
• Opened November 2001 a 9.6 mile segment from Cedarville to S. Charleston (5.2 miles in CC, DPL leased  to CCPD and S. C., operated by CCPD and SC .72 miles within their village limits).
• SC opened staging area in 2002.
• Opened June 2004 a 10.4 mile segment from SC to London (4.8 miles in CC, owned and operated by CCPD).
